Sunday Services take place at 10:30, last about an hour and take various forms – Holy Communion, Service of the Word, and Café style where we sit around tables and take coffee/tea and biscuits part way through.

We have extensive premises with a car park. We are available for baptisms, funerals and marriages of straight and gay couples.

We have a couple of joint ventures: a Toddlers Group with the Pre-School, and a Repair Café with Cockermouth ‘Climate Action Now’. Several of us meet in a Housegroup to explore a subject, recently the genuine writings of St Paul.

The Apple Tree Fellowship was created to lead services when preachers are not available. The Mary Platt pre-School is in permanent residency Monday to Friday and is one of just two pre-Schools in the town. Our premises are well used on a regular basis by local groups such as U3A, Bodyfit, Girl Guides, Brownies, Slimming World and Cockermouth Music Society. Since the Music Society’s Steinway piano is now held within the church, we are beginning to host concerts by other music organisations. The office for the North Lakes Foodbank resides in our building. A small Seventh Day Adventist church worships here.
