Alston Moor Methodist Church serves a welcoming Christian community in one of England's highest market towns, nestled in the North Pennines.
We meet in St Wulstan’s, the Catholic church in King’s Arms Lane, an arrangement that has existed for 20 years, and works well. We are a caring family of believers who love one another and welcome all to our weekly services.
The church offers a place of worship, fellowship, and outreach at the heart of the local area, with regular services, community events, and a commitment to serving both residents and visitors alike.
The newest initiative in Alston is ‘The Chat Room’ which is a meeting place where the community can come for a chat and a cuppa.
Rooted in Methodist tradition, the church continues to adapt and grow as part of the wider Cumbria Methodist Circuit.
