Kings Meaburn is a small but active village, situated in a remote and deprived area of the North Pennines; the chapel is only place of worship, with a growing, strong and traditional mixed age congregation who are spiritually open, inclusive, and welcoming. We are pleased to welcome visitors that take a holiday in the local caravan site.

The congregation continue to be passionate about rural community and mission, and willingly enable engagement in the local community. Church members are very committed to the chapel and continue to strive to provide for the upkeep and maintenance of the chapel building, The church building infrastructure is being further developed with a range of improvements to enhance its future sustainability and access for all.

Kings Meaburn is a chapel where all are welcome, and no one is excluded.

The chapel provides for a robust annual Harvest Festival and Christmas Carol service; these events are extremely popular and bring visitors from far and wide. Kings Meaburn is an excellent, friendly community in which to live, work and play and is ideally situated in the beautiful Eden Valley, with road links to the rest of the UK. The famous World Heritage Lake District National Park is a just over an hour journey away.
