Cartmel are a committed congregation who love to worship – with their wonderful organists they embody the phrase "born in song". The chapel is open between 10 am and 4 pm each day for anyone seeking peace and a sense of God's presence. Our small garden can be enjoyed at any time. A free leaflet inside the church suggests a prayer trail to guide the thoughts of visitors: another leaflet gives the history of this simple but beautiful chapel.
Cartmel also host a monthly coffee morning, welcoming friends from the village and beyond. The day-to-day care of this church is the responsibility of a retired minister, Rev David Edmondson – email him, as above, at any time, or speak to him at any of the coffee mornings.
