Carver Uniting Church is a URC and Methodist LEP. It is at present one church on 2 sites using both the Carver, Lake Road building and Windermere Methodist Chapel, Main Rd, Windermere. It has a history of inclusion and commitment to justice issues.
The Lake Road building is registered for all forms of marriage and this will be extended to the Main Road building.
The congregation hope to have completed a move to Main Road by the end of 2025.
Historically a majority URC congregation, it is part of the Cumbria Partnership of the URC North Western Synod. The lead minister is Martyn Coe but as with all URC's in the partnership this is a team ministry.
